The idea for LGM Promotions was based on a dinner that was organized by members to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in October 2014. The dinner was held in Jersey City, New Jersey, and honored four-time World Champion Boxer Miguel Cotto. The dinner was a success and inspired the current members of LGM to figure out how they can bring back the boxing scene to Jersey City. They all agreed they wanted a place for professional upcoming fighters, or amateurs, to make their professional debut in the tri-state area to showcase their talent.

After the dinner, LGM Promotions was born. The members of LGM applied for their promotional license at the New Jersey Athletic Commissions Office and held their first show, "Fists of the Fighting Irish," on March 14, 2015 at the historic Jersey City Armory, which was the first World Title event ever to be held in the facility. For the first professional boxing event in nearly 15 years, we drew more than 1,500 fans.

The primary goal of LGM Promotions is developing its Boxing Promotional Program, which is to show- case and advance the careers of young, upcoming fighters as well as develop relationships with other professional fighters throughout the world. LGM Promotions will soon become a major player within the Combative Sports world.
